Meet Us & Our Family
Jeremy and Sandra met in a most professional manner: online. As single parents neither of us valued the idea of meeting in a bar to filter out people. We let technology help us. And it worked! We had many long phone calls before we met in person for a homemade dinner; it was well planned by Jeremy and we both survived the dinner. Sandra mostly intact following cutting her palm while prepping an avocado. With all the laughter, we knew we might have something good. We finally brought our children together to meet and did so nervously. We were hesitant because this would be a deciding moment - without them getting along, we weren't sure if we would keep talking. Thankfully, God had that figured out as well! Our three mischief makers started with their antics and laughter right away. Vivian (11), Maximilian (9) and Camille (7) came together as a rainbow colored hurricane and they continue with all their beautiful energy. If you don't believe us, come see their play-room!
On October 12th, we will celebrate our marriage and the beauty of our family and faith. We have the joy of bringing our two families together and creating one, goofy, adventure-seeking, and creative family. Our story is filled with long phone calls and get-togethers discussing fate versus faith, the joy of our children and finding all the new ways to adventure together: hiking and nature walks, dog-parks, baking, movies, crafts and science experiments... and sometimes the kids get involved! Our time together has been a treasure and our goal is to keep finding ways to live, love and play together.
